Carrington Accountancy is a Xero certified partner. Many of our clients use Xero and will therefore be aware that the classic invoicing is about to be retired and replaced.

Following feedback from Xero customers and users, Xero have announced the following dates which you should pop in your diary:

1 September at 10pm BST, all invoicing users will automatically default to the new version each time they log into Xero. Some clients will be notified at the time and introduced to the new version of invoicing prior to 1 September when they create an invoice to gradually get familiar with the new experience.

And another date flagged by Xero well worth recording is:

we’ve extended the availability of classic invoicing, so users can choose to switch back to it until 19 November at 8pm GMT.

Since they first announced the changes in January, they have shown how responsive they are to feedback and have demonstrated the advantages of the new invoicing. They have also produced a very helpful training video on the new invoicing and the link to this is below.
