Question: Can I put career development or training courses through my company?

Expert Answer: Yes, these can be put through the company.

The only courses that are specifically not allowed are ones which teach a new and totally different skill to that which you have been trading in the company. For example, if you were a graphic designer, you could not decide to become a landscape gardener and train through the company. All language training gets caught by this rule too.
